Building Competitive Talent, Businesses and Communities Through Sport, Innovation and Enterprise
Eldoret, Kenya, 3rd November 2026 – EldoHub, a Tech and AI organization that develops talent, creates jobs and builds technology solutions for Africa, in collaboration with Athletics Kenya, yesterday announced the official launch of TechRun 2026, the third edition of its flagship event that brings together sport, technology, innovation and enterprise. The launch sets the stage for the main event, scheduled for 29 November – 1 December 2026 at TAC Center, Central Primary Grounds, Eldoret.
Driven by EldoHub's mission to build competitive talent, TechRun 2026 will focus on the Future of Work, Technology and Artificial Intelligence, featuring a 10KM Elite Race, a 10KM Fun and Recreational Run, the TechRun Summit, and a Technology, Innovation and Enterprise Showcase. The event will bring together athletes, young people, businesses, innovators, investors, policymakers and partners to explore opportunities at the intersection of sport, technology and enterprise. This year's edition will also feature KSh 1.4 million in prize money, recognising and rewarding athletic excellence.
Speaking during the launch, EldoHub Founder and Director, Ms. Magdaline Chepkemoi, reiterated that TechRun 2026 is more than a run; it is a platform for bringing together technology, innovation, health and community to shape the future we want to see.

She describes the integration of technology and athletics through TechRun 2026 as a brilliant concept that brings together Eldoret’s identity as the City of Champions and City of Innovators, creating an exciting brand for the city.”
