The Miliki Business Accelerator

The Miliki Business Acceleration Programme by Eldohub strengthens the business ecosystem in marginalized communities across Kenya. Targeting youth, women, men, persons with disabilities, and minority businesses, it provides comprehensive training in digital marketing, financial management, and strategic planning. Supported by experienced mentors and peers, the program fosters inclusivity and innovation through bootcamps, seminars, and hands-on workshops. Eldohub Women in STEM programme

The KidsKona Programme

The program covers coding, robotics, digital storytelling, and multimedia production, providing foundational STEM and digital media skills. ILO-Eldohub Jobs for Refugees and host communities Programme

The Eldohub-ILO Innovation Challenge on Jobs for Refugees and Host Communities in Turkana and Garissa aims to enhance job creation. Partnering with the International Labour Organization, Eldohub invites entrepreneurs and community leaders to propose projects generating employment, promoting skills development, and fostering social inclusion. Participants receive mentorship, training, and networking opportunities. The initiative focuses on sectors like agriculture, renewable energy, and digital solutions, using innovation to bolster resilience and economic integration. This challenge aims to create sustainable jobs and economic growth for both refugees and host communities in these counties.

GovStack County Government Digitisation Initiative

The Eldohub-GIZ GovStack Digitization for Counties initiative in Kenya, a collaboration between Eldohub and GIZ, aims to advance digital transformation in Kenyan counties. It seeks to enhance efficiency, transparency, and accountability in governance by adopting digital tools and platforms tailored to local needs. Objectives include streamlining administrative processes, improving citizen service delivery, and promoting data-driven decision-making. Through capacity building, technical assistance, and innovative technologies, the initiative digitizes records, boosts citizen engagement, and facilitates e-government services. GIG Economy Policy Dialogues and Skilling

Eldohub actively shapes policy discussions on Kenya’s gig economy, advocating for an inclusive and sustainable environment for freelancers and digital platforms. Key aspects include:

HERizons Project 

The Eldohub-HERIzons Project empowers women and girls in Kenya through technology and entrepreneurship. Key objectives include:

Entrepreneurship Support:Offering mentorship, networks, and resources for women to start and scale businesses.
Community Building:Creating a supportive network for women to collaborate and promote economic empowerment.

Mastercard Foundation Young Africa Works Initiative

Eldohub collaborates with the Mastercard Foundation and partners to design the Young Africa Works Programme, providing dignified work opportunities for African youth. Eldohub focuses on the demand pillar, aligning skills development with market needs to create sustainable jobs. They will lead labor market analyses within SMEs and startups, emphasizing digitization needs and connecting young tech professionals with businesses. This initiative aims to build a resilient, inclusive economy, empowering young Africans to realize their potential. Currently in the design phase, the program is set to launch soon, pending stakeholder finalization.
